Why do the children “work”? Print E-mail
Children have a deep love and need for purposeful work.  They engage work as the process and not as the product. Adult work is often for the profit and gain rather than the process from start to finish.  This is why we as adults are busy rushing and the child is enjoying the ride.  “Stop and smell the roses” is the way of the child.  Children’s main goal is the development of their self - mentally, physically, and psychologically.  Their play is work.
