The students have been enthusiastic in experiencing their new lessons and the sense of discovery that goes along with them. It is amazing to see our four-year-old children guiding our three-year-old children in their outdoor explorations (under the guidance of the teachers, of course), looking for living things under rocks, or having a Toddler harvesting a sweet pepper from our garden!

The example of our Kindergarten students has obviously inspired everyone to follow the path of discovery that is a wonderful learning tool in our school. They are fulfilling the role of leadership as outlined by Maria Montessori.

Joining the above children in their activities are additional Infant (Woodland location) and Toddler (Midland location) rooms. We hope to be able to serve the needs of more parents and children this year.

We are looking forward to seeing some of you at our first Open House and Pot Luck Dinner tomorrow night, August 26^th, beginning at 6:00 PM. This is for those parents of children in the South Room (Ms. Julia’s Toddlers) and the Upstairs Classroom (Ms. Marci). The Open House and Pot Luck Dinner for the Toddler program at the Woodland location will be this Thursday, August 28^th, at 6:00 PM. The North Room (Ms. Angeline and Ms. Ruth) will be Friday, September 5^th, at 6:00 PM.

We look forward to having our new parents join with our returning parents in conversation and camaraderie as part of our Christots community. Thank you for entrusting your children to the Montessori experience – a unique way in which to fulfill your children’s potential!
