EVENTS OF THE WEEK

This first week of school has been very exciting, with many new friends. This week has also been a transition week. We have had many Kindergarten children begin school. There are new rules for the classroom, and different procedures. Our schedule has changed slightly. The new schedule will be posted on the internet and on the back bulletin board by the first week of September.  Below are a few things I wish to remind you about.


  • Clipboards, if your child has not brought in an acrylic clipboard, please do so. ALL students will need a clipboard. If you have not brought in schools supplies, you may do so at any time.
  • Scissors,  these were not on the school list. Each child will need a pair of

 Fiskar non-pointed scissors. (please no names on scissors)

  • Please send Mud Boots for your child. Your child will need boots all year long.

Put your child’s name on the inside and place in the box outside the classroom.

  • Extra clothing is kept in the brown bag hanging on the coat hooks. Parents, please check your child’s bag for needed clothing.
  • If your child takes naps during the day, please send in a crib sheet or a small twin fitted sheet.
  • Please let Ms. Colleen or Ms. Donna know if your child has any allergies.
  • If the weather turns Hot again. Your child may bring in a water bottle, with name clearly marked on the bottle.
  • Please check your child’s cubby each day for papers and notes.
  • All notes and other information will be posted on the back bulletin board, the internet and sent home in cubbies or Friday Folders.

 

 

The Pot Luck Dinner has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 27 th. A sign up sheet is on the back table. Please sign up for the dish you will be bringing. This is an OUTSIDE EVENT. If you will not be able to attend, please let Ms. Colleen or Ms. Donna know, or leave a note on the clipboard by the sign in/out sheets.

 

I will not be able to attend the Pot Luck. I had other arrangements made before the change.
