We hate to say goodbye to her.  We are all happy for her new life change and thankful for what she has deposited in our lives.

On a possitive note for Christots we want to introduce our new staff members.  We feel very blessed that these ladies have found us.   They are starting the week of August 31st.  Ms. Debbie and I actually met probably 15 years ago when she came to tour our school in Mission.  At that time we were working with Kansas University mainstreaming developmentally delayed children into our program.  Ms. Debbie was involved in that program through Raintree Montessori at that time.  Her tenure at Raintree was 18 years.  She taught the brother of one of our present students there.  Before that time she worked at Sunshine Acres Montessori for 4 years.  Ms. Debbie received her first teaching certificate in Montessori through Montessori International Association in 1980 and her second teaching certificate through the  American Montessori in 2001. She lived in Lawrence for 25 years before moving to this area.  She is single, has two children, and is expecting her first grandchild in December. She has many wonderful gifts to bring to our children.  Ms. Debbie will be the lead teacher in the  upstairs classroom.
Ms. Marcie is married and has two children who are grown. One is married and working  in England while her husband takes some specialty classes.   Ms. Marcie's husband travels with his work which leaves her time to focus on completing her internship with National Childrens Montessori Educational Program here at Christots.  She had almost completed her degree in elementary education when she found the Montessori Method.  At this time she plans on working with Ms. Noleine and Ms. Terry in the afternoon Kindergarten program.
Ms. Raina is one of our new substitute teachers.  She will be here for a week or so.
